"This was my second stay at this hotel. I came back because I really liked it the first time, although it has changed hands since then. On arrival, our rooms were ready. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our baggage was safely left in the luggage room on the day of our departure, which made it so much easier on our last day. It was even brought to our table when we decided on a last-minute drink in the bar before heading to the station. If I had any gripe at all, it was in-room...

"Super location. Cabin great. Very disappointed that the advert for the cabin showed it overlooking the lake. The staff informed us that no lake side cabins were available. It was not clear from the advert that the photos were not the actual cabin that we were paying for. "

"Great from check in till check out. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Work going on, so a bit difficult to park, but we found a space. Short walk into the town with lots of places to eat with 5/10 minutes walk. Would book again when visiting Harrogate "

"Check in was late at night but staff were excellent and accommodating. Even changed floors so we could all be near each other. Clean, quiet spacious rooms. Breakfast great variety-only thing I’d say is if the vegetarian sausages could be more readily available. Housekeeping service excellent. If they could give enough water for the number of guests that would improve things-we were consistently given 2 water cans for 3 guests.. Location fantastic-all main sites and station within walking...
