"The pros: location is perfect, facing a canal and next to charming Jordaan and nice restaurants. Also less than 20 min walk from the centraal station.
Some restaurants like La Perla (pizza), de Benhalmel (nice upscale), Long Pura (Indonesian), Anne Frank House and boat rides are all a short walk from the hotel.
Breakfast opens at 7 and there’s a server who takes the order and brings the food. Not a buffet. Keep this in mind if you have an early morning activity, train to catch etc. allow some...

"Hotel Amrâth was the perfect hotel for a first stay in Amsterdam! It is in an excellent location since it is within walking distance of Central Station and many of the key sites and shopping areas. The hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Lovely hotel in excellent location near the van gogh museum.
Rooms a good size and well maintained.
Nice ‘honesty’ bar available in the reception with a decent selection of wine and snacks.
Near the tram stop to the Eurostar terminal so easy to get around.
Would certainly stay there again."

"La chambre très spacieuse, le personnel très accueillant.
Nous sommes habitués à des petits déjeuners type buffet, juste pas trop de choix au niveau du petit-déjeuner."

"Perfect location. Located on a beautiful canal and walking distance to everything, including the train station. This was one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at! In the lobby they have a cappuccino machine and jars of candy and a beautiful restaurant and bar. There are comfortable seating nooks all over the lobby and bar. We stayed here for a week and could not have been more comfortable!"
