We did arrive with 24 persons in our party, all stayed at The Riu Vallarta, as we got married at Karen’s Place Restaurant on March 8th…was disappointed that we actually had to PAY FOR AN UPGRADE to our room, it was not offered complimentary as a thank you for bringing so many guests with us. We so appreciated overlooking the beach in a relatively quiet neighborhood, where we could easily walk to a few spots, and take a short taxi ride to town. Our suite and the property pics were just as advertised. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the veranda outside our room. Staff was nice and helpful, and tolerated my rudimentary Spanish. Restaurant on site was good for a couple meals. "

Lots of young families but the adult pool is quiet. The only concern is that the bathroom cleaning in our room could have been better. "
