"The Salmakis Resort & Spa was an enticing place but little things meant that it didn't deserve its 5 star rating. "The pool is only in the sun until about 11.30 and wasn’t heated.
The breakfast was quite poor for a Turkish hotel. No bowls put out for yoghurt, no spoons either, had to ask everyday. No fresh fruit apart from apples. Had to wait ages to be asked if I wanted coffee or tea.
Same everday, no sweet pastries ever. No toast available."

"Amazing resort with lots of great facilities of pool, SPA and water slides. Food was available nearly ever hour of the day as breakfast, lunch and dinner were for long hours with snacks in between. Quality of food is good if not excellent but desserts were the highlight of the main meals. The only thing I wish they could have done better is to have more English speaking staff as it’s difficult to communicate. Also, better quality of bedding as there were no duvets just scratchy sheets."
