"Got married at this hotel 10 years ago so wanted to reminisce with the wife. Few subtle changes but very much remained the same charisma that made us want it as our wedding venue. Grand entrance, very clean and well presented. Reception was very tidy and manned by 2 very helpful women who gave us the good news of room upgrade and bad news they were having heating issues and think that the room is affected. Discussion with staff provided friendly reception and felt like they were genuinely...

"Hotel stay was great, bigger than average room and bathroom which for a city hotel is unusual. Staff were very friendly and helpful in particular the concierge was outstanding. The only negative was upon check-in the reception computer crashed just as payment was made so had to make 2nd payment which although was assured only one payment would be taken, in fact two payments were taken. Hotel has agreed to refund the second amount which I am still waiting to receive."
