"Wonderful! Breakfast buffet and evening meal was superb. Room fabulous."

"Great location, friendly and helpful staff and lovely room but breakfast was extortionate."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Municipal Hotel! The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and a unique character that makes it a memorable place to stay. The staff were consistently professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Liverpool and within easy walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, pubs, and points of interest. It was the perfect home base for...

"Central location in the heart of liverpool.room very comfortable and clean. Staff very efficient friendly and helpful. Wonderful city .have used the hotel in the past. And will in the future."

"Personeel heel aardig, schone kamer. Wel geluid door airco (ook bij uitzetten blijft geluid) en lopend water als andere kamers douchen. Bed iets te hard en met harde knopen in de topper. Kussen wel fijn. Locatie is heel goed."

"This place is a classic case of all front and no back. While the grand entrance and sparkling chandelier lobby make a great first impression, it’s a complete illusion. You’re paying a premium price for a room that wouldn't feel out of place in a run-down Blackpool B&B. The windows were stuck fast, leaving us to sweat out a suffocating night on top of the sheets. To top off the room experience, it’s 2026 and they still haven't invested in curved shower rails, meaning you get to spend your...

"Great location"

"The hotel is fine. It is cheap and you get what you pay for. The bathroom could have been cleaner but the rest of the room was fine. The staff at breakfast was lovely and they had a good selection. The location is good"

"Great stay - well equipped gym, super comfortable beds and wonderful staff"

"The hotel has a wonderful ambience , probably created by the staff who are extremely helpful and friendly, as well as hard working. The cleanliness and efficiency is created by this commitment shown by the personell"

"This was a nice hotel, in a great area. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was one major drawback. It was cold in the room. After we checked in and couldn't get the heat to come on, we called the front desk to report it. We were told they let maintenance know. Over an hour went by, sitting in jackets, we called again. They said maintenance was working on it. A 3ed call got them to say they'd bring us a heater. 4.5 hours later, we got 2 small heaters. This was late...

"Easy parking, great location…..fab desk staff"

"The staff was amazing but it was so hard getting ready in the room as it was so dark, the room needs more lighting, the tv didn’t work so the staff were so helpful they gave us a speaker to borrow.. the beds were comfy we just struggled as a group of girls getting ready in such a dark room but the staff couldn’t of helped us more if they tried x"

"Though rooms are slightly small. It does what it says on the tin, nice bonus is the tele which i rarely turn on when on holiday lol nice selection of channels via sky remote. The rooms are very comfortable and is excellent walking distance to Liverpool one Bold street docks e.t.c. Highly recommended. Staff were very friendly also"

"Thae Leonardo hotel is ideally placed for Albert dock and the river Mersey. Its not far from the city centre and all the amenities. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent."

"Very basic rooms, check in experience is completely automated but is not particularly clear. We had 2 rooms and it was fairly painful to get checked in properly. Separately the high tech locks on the rooms don’t work as well as I think they’d hope."
