"The Aoraki Alpine Lodge was a pleasant place to spend a few days. I arrived in the later afternoon and was greeted by the kind staff and immediately felt welcome. They even have a mini store with everything from eggs to milk to deodorant and toothpaste so if you forget anything or want to make food, they have a small selection for purchase. "Great camping option just outside MT Cook national park. We stayed in cabin with three bunk beds. Communal kitchen was fun to meet other campers especially students and families. Shower house was big and plenty of hot water. Much more affordable the hotels in the park. "
