"Was an issue, but I couldn't define adequately the reason. During the booking, I don't remember to have the option to change the age of my kid. I came early and alone to do the check in and receive the key. When we arrive late in the night, the booking was done for under 1 year old (she is 11) so just one bed was in the bedroom. They offer option to resolve and that's a good point, but the error could be in the website, or the hotel options. But definitively, the location was great to visit...

"We stayed at Federale Lugano for 2 nights. It is very close to the train station, and easy to get to by taking Funicular from the train station to Cathedral stop. Room wasn’t big but very comfortable and clean, bathroom was really small but it didn’t bother us. Best part was the staff - very nice and kind, always smiling. Breakfast was very good - juice, coffee, eggs, yogurt, fresh bread etc. We also had dinner at their restaurant and enjoyed the food and service. Will be willing to stay there...

"It was a beautiful stay for us. The hotel is in a really nice location, personnel is polite and friendly, breakfast was also very good. The only observation is that many areas and furniture look very old, and like they are on their last days of usability. I imagine soon they will need to go under big renovations "
