"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Municipal Hotel! The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and a unique character that makes it a memorable place to stay. The staff were consistently professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Liverpool and within easy walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, pubs, and points of interest. It was the perfect home base for...

"Amazing staff on reception. Great rapor with them. Location and room fantastic. Very loud on a Saturday night from partying, but that’s somewhat expected."

"A very clean room in convenient location. The staff was very helpful. Would happily stay again"

"On upon checking , the staff were amazing and smooth check in , The room itself could have had a bit of attention , windows don’t open , heating can’t switch off and mattress was rock hard , the bathroom looks brand new and the shower was amazing with but the bathroom sink took about 10 -15 mins to drain away . The check out was also very quick . Also there’s a booking taxi screen in reception which was very handy"

"Rated 4* - on what planet? Completely bereft of any facilities. Room was small, dark, aged and tired. Stay in Liverpool every 2 weeks and thought I’d give this ago - if"

"Great location"

"When in Liverpool this is only hotel i will stay in. Reception staff especially April very helpful and professional."

"We were kept awake all night by the people upstairs. Not cause they were noisy but cause all rooms have wooden floors and you can hear every step. The finish in the rooms was poor, bits of paint on the wood, chipped walls, and the windows were really old, couldn’t be opened and you could hear everything from outside. We booked it for the spa for my husbands 50th, and were informed on arrival that we had to pay to use the pool. £45 each and that was discounted for that we got a swim in the pool,...

"Stayed there to celebrate a Beatles fan's birthday. Perfect hotel. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Helpful and polite staff. Plenty to eat for breakfast."

"Though rooms are slightly small. It does what it says on the tin, nice bonus is the tele which i rarely turn on when on holiday lol nice selection of channels via sky remote. The rooms are very comfortable and is excellent walking distance to Liverpool one Bold street docks e.t.c. Highly recommended. Staff were very friendly also"

"Thae Leonardo hotel is ideally placed for Albert dock and the river Mersey. Its not far from the city centre and all the amenities. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent."

"Very basic rooms, check in experience is completely automated but is not particularly clear. We had 2 rooms and it was fairly painful to get checked in properly. Separately the high tech locks on the rooms don’t work as well as I think they’d hope."
