"I stayed here twice - in September 2025 and again in May 2026 - and both stays were excellent. The staff are warm and professional, and the location is good for sightseeing by taxi, though less ideal for walking since the hotel sits on a hill. Nişantaşı is about 15 minutes away on foot, Dolmabahçe Palace around 10 minutes downhill, and Taksim Square roughly 15 minutes away. "Hotel in ottima posizione, personale gentile e disponibile e molto di aiuto per organizzare tour e attività. La struttura è gradevole anche se un po' datata, ma cosa normale essendo nel centro della città vecchia. Posizione ottima per raggiungere a piedi le maggiori attrazioni. In alcuni casi la manutenzione potrebbe essere un po' meglio ma cose di poco conto, anche se doveroso segnalarlo. Ottima SPA con personale competente."

"We booked the Carina Gold based on the reviews reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The location was perfect. We walked to everything in the old city within minutes. The concierge was very helpful in giving us itinerary ideas and setting up what we decided to do. The hotel arranged pick up at the airport and back. "The property is very well located. I got an upgrade room with best view to the Blue Mosque. Breakfast is limited but it was fine for me. The front desk guy was very polite and helpful. I would stay again!"

"The staff were so helpful specifically izmet and nesrin. They recommended really nice places to visit and made sure to order us taksis everyday. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s in a great location and the terrace has an amazing view."

"Property looks nice but their staff and service is really bad not worth it to stay in that Hotel for their price rate i thought it was a luxury place but not. room service is bad , guest service is bad and to add i ordered to decorate the room for honeymoon a day before and one hour before check in they call me saying we don’t have time . "The property and staff was amazing, even when we didn't understand the "lighting" concept of the do not disturb, when I asked why house cleaning didn't come, they were so patient and immediately came to clean the room, for I was so appreciative. Room service and even security were amazing, so nice and patient. I would definitely begin my trip to Istanbul with this hotel again in the future, nothing compares even as we try different areas within Istanbul."
