"We had a room with balcony and sea view which was excellent. Breakfast was very good, cooked items could sometimes have been a little better ( compared with previous visit in 2024), and the same goes for the dinner on a few occasions. But overall the standard is high. Staff all friendly, professional and helpful. A lift would be helpful"

"Lovely welcome, made up for first impression, looked like it was unloved from the outside. Really big room, all that was needed to hand. Very friendly owners. Sauna and spa bath very nice. The only downside was on the night I stayed there were a lot of children running up and down stairs and they were not quiet (it was just after Christmas), but that was not anyone's fault. However slept soundly when noise lessened in a very comfortable bed and superb breakfast made the children vanish! Would...

"We had a lovely 1 night stay for the IOW Festival. Had a family room which had plenty of room and everything we needed. Hotel is very dated but I don’t think that affects the stay and it was clean which is more important. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was basic but ideal for us. Great location, opposite the pier and just near High Street which had small Sainsbury’s and Tesco plus cafes and local shops. Was perfect for us. "
