"The double cosy room is extremely small for 2 people and a dog and very tight space in the corridors when cleaning staff and trollies are out. Dog friendly but no water bowls anywhere around the hotel. Can’t believe Reception had a notice saying Back in 10 minutes when they claim service 24/7"

"Truly enjoyed my stay here. What stood out was how helpful the staff were! We had a delayed flight which resulted in us arriving long after check in period had closed. We called the hotel and communicated our worries. They were more than accommodating and allowed us to check in and left instructions to make it a smooth process. "This is a very neglected older hotel. The carpets are worn and dirty, wallpaper is cracked and separating, and the inside woodwork rotten and in desperate need of repair. On a good note, the staff was very nice and professional."

"Great castle stay. You can wander around the property and get a look at the other rooms of the castle. Free easy on-site parking. Staff was great. Little pub in the basement with walk-out garden seating to have a beverage. As with it being an old castle, it has and old charm and fun to explore. Bummed the ghost story person was t=not there for our stay - would have loved to hear. Recommended. Only potential issue, there is no lift and 3 floors potentially. Would stay again. "We stayed in the pods. It is not loch view. They are in a garden. So there is no view other than the pods. The bathroom are so small so you have to remember to take the loo roll out before you shower because they will get wet. Dinner was ok. And staff were good :)"

"This place sounded like a place you'd find in Australia. Not to be confused with Australis's own Wolf Creek. The isolation is the only thing these two places have in common, but Tingle Creek is a much more peaceful and quiet location. Shower was great, bed even better and the breakfast allowed you to choose from hot and cold selection, choosing how much and what you wanted to eat. Ive been to many hotels with breakfast included and a lot goes to waste as they often give you too much. They don't...
