"I stayed here for one night with my daughter after a trip to Peppa Pig World, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful.
The staff were lovely, and there was so much to do. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, played ping-pong, explored the grounds, and even went on the zip line.
The most magical part was seeing the wild horses just a short walk away. Being right in the heart of the New Forest made it feel really special.
My daughter also loved the piano man and...

"I spent two nights at The Bear Hotel. The room was small but functional; however, the furniture was very tired and badly worn. The paint was peeling and stained in places, as though an old leak had never been properly repaired. The bathroom had also seen better days.
Cleanliness was a major issue throughout my stay. The bedside table was covered in dust, and the carpet was disgustingly filthy. Overall, the room felt neglected and in desperate need of refurbishment, along with a much higher...

"Room fine, but, Hotel is no longer part of Best Western. We were not advised of change which included name(!) and the fact that breakfast was not offered. Expedia website had also failed which meant the hotel had two bookings for us. They did, gracefully, acknowledge this error with no charge."

"Lift not working, hairdryer in room not working, nor bathroom light. Bathroom door swollen and sticking."

"Immediately told we would have to pay £15 for overnight parking in their car park (nobody mentioned there was free parking in their road outside).
Then told breakfast would cost £15, even if you only had a bowl of cereal.
Room was like an oven, and couldn’t open windows properly, let alone any air conditioning.
