"Location is excellent, close to bus stops, shopping, waterfront walk, Te Papa etc. Bed was comfortable enabling a good sleep each night. Staff very helpful, especially when I had trouble with using the TV. They came up to my room and showed me exactly what to do. On the not so wonderful side was the electric jug. "With the Rydges being only walking distance from the stadium it was the perfect location for a staycation. The hotel was humming with rugby fans and the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive as it got busier. The pool was great for a quick swim."

"Staying here a lot whenever I'm in town and always been happy. Clean rooms, great facilities and location (supermarket across the road). Great staff and it's usually pretty quiet, highly recommended for backpackers and overnight stays."
