"This is a well kept hotel and our room was perfect! The views were beautiful! The staff were very friendly and accommodating when I requested an extra comforter for the room. They have a wonderful buffet breakfast which we enjoyed every morning. We totally enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Oakes Hotel!"

"I enjoyed the off-kilter design and decor. The quirky nature of the place suited me, it was very refreshing compared to more conventional hotels I have stayed at. Great location in the heart of Wellington's heart - Cuba Street!! Staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn't figure out how to get the heater to work, but it didn't really matter. "We had a wonderful stay! The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved having a separate lounge/living area, which made our stay feel extra comfortable and relaxing. The pool, spa, and sauna were all exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. It was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. "Overall good stay, comfortable large rooms with microwave and small fridge. At the check in they told me “we don’t service rooms everyday, let us know if you need anything”, but I was there 3 nights and none of the days the room was serviced. I wish they would’ve told me “we won’t serve your room”, I thought it was not very transparent. Other than that, it was fine"
