"This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort. "I couldn't fault my stay at hotel Franziskaner. My room was very comfortable. I upgraded my room to have my own shower, a bit more expensive but it was worth it. I had breakfast every morning which was plentiful and as much coffee as i wanted. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus/train station which was very pleasant. Staff were very friendly. "
