"For me, the main reason to stay in a hotel is to get sleep which requires a comfy bed, darkness and quiet. Unfortunately here the windows are very old sash style windows which are not double glazed and have lots of gaps. There were several broken locks and handles indicating they know this is an issue. "We stayed in room 5 on the first floor for 2 nights. Pros: great location for visiting the Cotswolds. Stow is a lovely place and the pub is very welcoming. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable and clean. Cons: we could hear the neighbours walking across the floor upstairs late at night. We could also hear them flushing their loo and using the shower. The walls up the stairs to the rooms were very marked and need a good paint refresh. The worst thing for me was the issue with carpet...
