"We stayed in one of the hotels premier suites. It was too big! The decor and design were dated and the lighting and airconditioning problematic. The huge bed had sheets that weren't fitted and the bedspread wasn't very clean and had hairs and dust in evidence. The shower was brilliant and it had 2 baths in the room

"The room, separate to and, around the back of the pub was stunning. It was warm and cosy with a controllable radiator for heat. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. No shower, but a lovely bath with a handheld shower head. Perfect place to stay before starting the Thames Path. Food was elevated pub fare, and brekkie was the standard full English."

"We never ate at the hotel it was less expensive elsewhere. Can’t complain except towels need to be renewed. Also hand soap would be nice.
Room noisy in the morning because of traffic.
Staff should greet customers coming in and out of hotel it’s part of your job!"

"I arrived at the hotel around 12pm, although check-in was not until 3pm. I was told I could check in earlier if I upgraded to a more expensive room, but I decided not to and instead left my luggage at reception before heading to a wedding.

"It was an okay hotel. We paid for continental breakfast and there was barely any food left and the station was messy. Ended up ordering dishes at an extra charge. Not sure it was worth a £300 stay. "

"We visited Cheltenham with our 18 month old to go to a wedding.
The building is a beautiful period property but there isn’t a lift, so request a 1st floor room if you have a lot of luggage!
Room was beautiful and we had a lovely view of the park. "

"Everything about this hotel was fantastic.
From helpful check in staff to brilliant waiting staff in the restaurant and the bar our stay was made very special.
