"The hotel is a perfect represention of the era of construction. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The walls are not well insulated, so we did hear the guests next door a few times. Hallway noise is also an issue in the early morning. Book a riverview room with a balcony to experience the sights of the Savannah River. The A/C and ceiling fans helps to recover from the heat and humidity of a long day. The location is perfect to walk to most attractions within the city center. Overall, a good experience and we would stay here again."

"Hotel is wonderful, but the transfer from the airport to the hotel is a cluster. You have to get from the airport on a “domestic shuttle” to a way station to be picked up - 20 minutes. Then wait for the shuttle that is packed and not timely. Best advice - jump in a cab or uber to get there!!"
