"The Bar Peepal Resort exceeded our expectations. The staff was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. They were friendly, always eager to help, always smiling, and went the extra mile. They immediately told us about activities we might enjoy and booked a Hot Air Balloon excursion, a highlight, and a massage at their lovely spa. This is a family owned hotel and they provide several things, such as laundry service, breakfast, taxi service, paragliding, bungee jumping, short and long Himalaya trekking expeditions with guides and transportation to all locations. "What an unique location. The only way to get across to the hotel is by hand pulled raft or a small rowing boat if you don't have any large luggage. The hotel is so tranquil and in beautiful grounds. Modern bathroom. One of the few places we stayed where the room had a safe. Also they allow you to use the pool & spa after check out if you have a late flight. Excellent dinner options served. Some people might think the rooms on the small size considering the price paid."
