"We stayed at this hotel for six nights and overall we were very satisfied with our experience. We booked and paid through Expedia, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cold towel, which was a very nice and thoughtful gesture after a long journey. The rooms were comfortable and in good condition. They were clean and well maintained, and considering local standards in Sri Lanka, the level of cleanliness was absolutely fine....

"Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more...

"Our little family had an amazing stay at Riff. The beach is beautiful, rooms are good (the cleaning of the rooms is super!), food is delicious! You can hear the waves from the ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. You can go see the turtles and Turtle beach (5 minute Tuk Tuk), and snorkling. The staff is incredible and our 7 month baby Charlie was so well taken care off (they even fixed food for her!). Special thank to Benischa and the gang in the restaurant, Charlie misses you already!...

"I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal!
