"The Wheatsheaf is a typical pub hotel. Clean rooms with friendly staff.
Breakfast was individually cooked to order and was very good."

"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away.
This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes.
The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream)
Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed.
The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I needn’t have worried.

"Group of us stayed at the hotel after we had a work meeting on site.
Excellent communication beforehand and it was an easy day all round with arrangements.
Rooms were all good, modern and clean and dinner in the restaurant was enjoyed by all that night.
We will be using it again for future team get togethers."

"We can’t rate this hotel as when arrived wet, hungry and tired after a 22 mile walk the Old Hall Inn was CLOSED FOR BUSINESS and has been since January 2025!! We booked this last October 2024 but no one thought to let us know
We are really not impressed with the service Then to add insult to injury Hotels.com asked us to review our non-existent stay
We have yet to hear from Hotels.com with an explanation or at the very least an apology "
