"Amazing beautiful location but unfortunately the house did not live up to expectations, especially considering the price. The house was damp and smelt strongly of damp. Some of the walls were very damp with bubbling of the paint and mould. There was mould around the bathroom plug and around the edge of the shower. The sofas had lost their springs and incredibly uncomfortable which wasn't helped with being made from hessian. The bed was very bouncy so when my husband rolled over I bounced...

"Do book here if you'd like a warm welcome, clean sheets, tea and coffee with fresh milk in your room, an inclusive cooked breakfast, free parking, and a central location for a fraction of what you'll pay elsewhere in the town for room only. Don't book here if recently refurbished fixtures, fittings, carpets, decoration and bathrooms are important to you. The owners are lovely, and have owned the place for close to half a century. Appreciate that."
