"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed. "Pub and Barn were lovely. We had a barn room and it was small but beautifully appointed. The coffee machine was a real bonus as was the homemade shortbread. The velux window was a bit of a challenge to open and close. Breakfast was very nice with really friendly helpful staff, checkout was also friendly and straightforward. This was in contrast to check in, (e.g. we were told they didn't want us mithering the cleaning staff, as if we would) lunch and evening meal. The food was nice enough but...

"Great location on quiet road. Parking easy and safe. 10 mins walk into Settle. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Free fresh milk, orange, apple juice, water. Staff superb, efficient and helpful."

"Amazing trip away, the pub is outstanding and the huts behind were brilliant to stay in. There are no cooking facilities but we were aware and planned accordingly. The mattress was not the most comfortable we have slept on but still would return in a heartbeat, had a brilliant trip away for a birthday treat. "
