"Room was spotless clean, staff were very accommodating, breakfast was lovely. We did not realise the popularity of the bar and were disappointed to not be able to dine in the hotel the evening we stayed and had to drive to a nearby town for dinner. Would recommend that tables is booked in the restaurant or bistro for dinner. "

"Excellent location, within walking distance to everything in Ennis including shopping (Dunnes, Tesco, and quaint boutiques) and restaurants. Our standard room was well appointed, warm, and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices for vegetarians. Highly recommend. "

"Free parking in front of the hotel and no issues finding a spot. Large rooms but it has seen better days and could use a refresh. Location is about 10 to 15 mins drive into the main town of Ennis and hotel is beside a golf course, not affiliated with the hotel. Stayed only for 1 night and it was fine."

"I do feel that I need to mention that in the family suite the WIFI did not work our entire two night stay. It was stated that is something we would have and paid for and that was not the case. While the front desk apologized, they did not offer a credit of any sort. We had to unfortunately purchase an international plan at a greater cost to use our phones once we arrived and then the following day as well."

"Everything at Hotel Doolin was wonderful, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the kindness we received after an unfortunate accident early in our visit. The staff went above and beyond, checking in on us regularly over the following days and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. They graciously kept the kitchen open after hours to ensure we were cared for and comfortable. When it came time to leave, we were touched to receive a loaf of freshly baked bread—a simple yet heartfelt gesture that perfectly captured the spirit of genuine Irish hospitality. "We stayed one night to catch an early flight. The hotel decor was nice, the food in the bar was good, the kids loved the vending machines in the hallways. The bedroom was fine, we had to leave the bathroom fan on as there was a dank smell from the bathroom. I’d stay again if we had an early flight to catch as the proximity to the airport is great "
