"A very enjoyable stay overall. The hotel has a really stylish, modern feel, and the bar/lounge area creates a great atmosphere. Free parking was a nice added convenience, especially when travelling by car. The only small downside is that some rooms are quite a walk from reception, the bar, and the restaurant, depending on where you are located. Not a major issue, but worth noting. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

"This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. "We loved our stay at Cappabhaile. The room was huge with tasteful traditional touches. A fun game room. The first time I didn’t wake up in pain for years. In other words great bed. A beautiful view of the cows chomping grass outside our window. The breakfast was excellent. It was delicious and filling. Five big 🌟’s from us!"

Saw reviews of it being too loud, but it was really quiet with the windows closed so not sure what that’s all about. Very nice staff and good continental breakfast. Absolutely would recommend"

"As of May 2026, property was being renovated. We received a remodeled room, which was clean and adequately appointed. We had stayed here about 3 years earlier, so the fact that we returned is a positive. Staff were friendly. The hotel is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Its not in the center of town, buy you walk (about 20+ minutes)."

"This was a hostel type “hotel” with no daily room cleaning. Rooms are smaller than pictured. Floor very dirty and shower was small with light water pressure and mildew. Location is great and they provide a fan for warm nights. Our room was quiet, faced away from main road. Staff helpful with extra towels and pillows"
