"Just got back from a 7 night stay. Had a wonderful time! The rooms were clean and loved the filtered water machine and cappuccino maker in our room. Most food was very good with Bamboo (Asian) and Manglar (seafood) being our favorite restaurants. The pizza stand by the pool was awesome! The pool and pool bar staff were fun. Shoutout to Alan at the club swim-up bar. Recommend paying extra for the club adult side of the resort if you are traveling without kids. The beach was also great! We swam in...

The pools were amazing. I loved the different temperatures. The trails were lovely (finally saw my favourite type of frogs). The shuttle bus to take us to and from our rooms was extremely helpful. "

"The food was amazing for our entire stay. I would stay here again just for the food. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is nice but there are a lot of old boats anchored in the water so the view isn’t great. Pretty disappointing actually. That and there is a tour pick up point right down the beach so there are boats and jet skis flying in and out pretty much non stop."

"An incredible property immersed into the rainforest. So much to do on property including club rio where you felt even more remote. We enjoyed the hot springs more down in club rio than the ones closer to the rooms, which were also great. We saw monkeys and sloths on property as well. Staff were always very accommodating and the concierge staff were also very helpful. We would definitely staff at The Springs again."

"Pools were great, but that was pretty much it. This is an older, has been resort. It has great potential, but they seem to skimp on everything. There were two of us in a family suite. Not a couple, just 2 female friends. They only would give us 2 towels and 1 hand towel, and no wash cloths, even when requested more. We were told that’s all they give for 2 people. There were lots of bugs in the room. Little flying ants mostly, but we still don’t want them in the bed. The bar was limited on...

Direct access to the beach to watch the surfers and experience the volcano rocks expanded our love for the property. The shell filled beach was truly unlike other places in the world. "Honestly we felt catfished by this hotel. When we booked we thought the hotel looked amazing, but when we arrived we felt deceived. I can list all the horrible things we experienced starting with their towel policy. They give you tickets for pool towels which you can only get from the front desk which is across the street from our room. If you lose the towel or the ticket you have to pay $20 so that added extra stress to our stay. The hotel room is filled with bugs which sneak in under the front...
