"Great breakfast. Staff were lovely. Public rooms have been well updated and look great. But our bedroom had had ½ a makeover. New bathroom. But no internal phones, wardrobes are out of the ark, doors have very old lock system. No safe. No interactive tv screen. Hot water very hit and miss. Doors and frames have been repainted but are clearly very old and look very old! The view from the room was awful. Over looking old part of the building, rusting down pipes and unpainted rotting windows. Bed...

"The welcome was very nice when we arrived. But when we got to our room there was only one towel and robe for two of us and no decent mugs to have a cup of tea. The breakfast the following morning was very busy, and the coffee machine always needed service and the coffee was not up to the right temperature. We sat down and felt like we were forgotten due to the amount of people at the same time having breakfast. Over all for what we paid it felt like we were short changed. I also did not like...

"Our lodge was spacious and very clean upon arrival. The only downside of the holiday was the swimming pool opening times. Advertised as open from 9am but had to wait at least an hour on a couple of days due to the chlorine levels not being right, which was an inconvenience. Also, the takeaway menu from the restaurant was limited on a few nights. Apart from that, we would certainly visit again. Ideal for a family getaway and only 15 minute drive to Padstow."

"The most terrible experience we have ever had. No towels, no soap, only one pillow that was one inch deep. When we asked for towels were given 2towels size of a hand towel. That’s all we have got. They only come once a week. No one came all week to service the room. Beds lumpy and very uncomfortable. Windows filthy could hardly see through. Lift kept breaking down. Would never stay there again."

"I think the only thing that was clean was the bed. The carpet was completely stained, there were coffee splatters all down the wall, bathroom didn’t look clean, the bath panel was also hanging off. The mould on the walls was making the wallpaper peel off. The floors were very creaky and uneven, each time you walked around it would make the wardrobe move and bash together. "Fabulous location overlooking the harbour, not far from the town centre. The room was well-decorated, clean and spacious with a huge, comfortable bed. Loved the spa-like bathroom, local toiletries and the bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with a waterside view, and the staff were very accommodating. Parking was initially a problem as there were other events at the hotel, but the reception staff soon found spaces in their garage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would...

"Beautiful surroundings, pool area was lovely. We were disappointed with the room, it was tired the air con wasn't working well and the hot water wasn't great, the taps ran hot for a few seconds only and the shower went from hot to cold quickly."

"The hotel is in a good position with Lidl and a Pub closeby, which was good for dinner. The room is quite large with a good view. The breakfast food was nice but the slow service and lack of process to take orders defintely the needs improvement. Otherwise we enjoyed our 1 night stay."
