"The hotel/guest house is ideally situated in a quieter residential area, but still within easy reach of all amenities. The room was clean and bright, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom facilities good. The service was excellent, if perhaps a little slow, but that did not detract from my experience in any way. The breakfast was ample and well presented. The garden could be given some TLC to improve the outside seating area. I would happily stay here again."

"Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free. The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore."

"A beautiful little place, the room was clean and comfortable, and the landlady couldn't do do even to make my stay great. Also the B&B is home to the bestest boy in the South,a lovely placid dog named Merlin. I will definitely be staying again next time I travel to St Austell."
