"Le personnel est particulièrement chaleureux, disponible, agréable et souriant. Presque tous parlent français et font l’effort de le parler. Buffet riche et varié, tout le monde y trouve son bonheur. Les chambres sont correctes et le ménage fait tous les jours. Seul bémol mais sans importance pour nous puisque nous ne recherchions pas ce critère, c’est l’animation. La plage est située à quelques mètres. Séjour très agréable."

"The Lamaro is wonderfully situated right in the Gothic Quarter, on the square with the Barcelona Cathedral. It has a lovely rooftop bar/restaurant. It is easy to walk from there to the El Born and Eixample neighborhoods."

"The location of the property was really good, just a 10 minute stroll to the end of La Rambla and the port area. We explored quite a lot of Barcelona and decided this was definitely the best area to stay as we were near so many local eateries. The room was spotless, thanks to the fabulous housekeeping team. "The location was amazing. It was 5 minutes from LA Boqueria market, 2 minutes from another super market and restaurants all over. They provide all the amenities. They provide filtered water station on every floor which was essential. Super friendly staff. The only negative thing is that the entire Ramblas street in front of the hotel has been under heavy construction over one year and no-one notified me prior to getting there. It's not the hotel issue so can't hold them responsible. I...

"The room was clean and just the right amount of stay for a couples vacation. The area is great, quiet and quick access to the metro and bus routes. All in all you are a bit away from the tourist areas which is great for sleep and not more than a 10-15 min metro ride to most if not all major attractions."
