"The staff were so hospitable and accommodating! I was traveling with my partner for my birthday, and the hotel staff surprised us with wine and a birthday cake to my room free of charge! The food was good for the most part, although two of the eateries were closed due to construction, they also were very amenable to food allergies and restrictions (I have a gluten sensitivity). "If you’re looking for a small , private spot to relax on your vacation this is it! The staff was courteous and so helpful. The room was immaculate and morning breakfast was just what we needed - fruit,granola and coffee! There’s surfing right in front of the hotel and we had a short walk on the beach to the pickup spot for fishing. My wife and I loved it! What a truly relaxing week "

"The staff made the trip. Everyone is Absolutely wonderful and feels like family by the time you leave. Great service, great location - easy to get to town, quieter end of the beach. Got to see howler monkeys, lizards, birds and the hotel cats. Simba became a constant visiting our room. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to the Tamarindo area!"

"We stayed at Ocho a few weeks ago and I'm still dreaming of it. It was by far the best spot on the beach and I loved the manager's dj play lists and even shazamed them so I could save them! Very chill vibe on the beach and really a perfect location there and then literally a 3 min walk to town. There was also a very cool food truck park right behind and I wish we wouldve ate there more!
