"The staff are what make this place! Jessica in the dining area was wonderful and felt like family in just the three days we stayed at the resort! The rooms were clean and every staff member goes above and beyond to be helpful. Scott the GM is doing a great job running the resort and it shows in the attitudes of his staff. Great sunsets from the beach as well. Would love to return to visit again soon!"

"There isn’t much to not like about this resort. It’s great for families, going with friends or even a work retreat. The bungalows are spacious and modern. The lighting is rather dim though which is hard for us older people! There are plenty of food choices and the buffet had a lot to choose from. "Major Hygiene and Maintenance Issues – Beautiful Beach, but Subpar Accommodations We recently spent 4 nights at the RIU Palace Costa Rica. While the beach is absolutely beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and responsive, the actual accommodations were completely unacceptable and poorly maintained. "Room was very clean. Staff in the 1 restaurant that was on site were amazing. Very run down resort!! We arrived on Sunday and asked daily to get HOT water in our shower by Thursday night we finally had warm water. Shower towels finally got switched out Thursday during cleaning. Pool towels were thread worn out. Strings hanging from them. If you want no frills in an all inclusive this would be it. Outside showers by the beach had zero water to them. Nice room, great views, loved the pool, everything we ate at caviar restaurant delicious, breakfast offered a nice variety, staff was always helpful and amazing, free shuttle service was the best and access to Langosta Beach Club was a plus! "The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was good with plenty of options to choose from. The entertainment was enjoyable but could use some improvement, as it felt a bit slow at times. The resort itself could definitely benefit from some updates. Our blackout curtains didn’t work, and the regular curtains were ripped, which took away from the overall experience.
