"We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower."

"My second time to stay at this hotel, really love the location right next to Lake Lugano, peaceful and private. Very beautiful scenery. Staffs are friendly, breakfast is excellent with many choices. "We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again."
