The last time I stayed there, people got into my room while I stepped out, broke the security clutch from within. "This is our 4th year coming to the Hyatt Regency - Welk Resort. This is an outstanding place to staycation, or vacation, as a family. There are so many amenities to accommodate the stay, including; pools, spas, water slides, snack bars, market and places to dine. The grounds are upbeat daily and Staff is the best. The rooms are great but I recommend the Villas. We'll be back next year."

"This hotel met on my expectations for the experience. I was looking for unfortunately. The maintenance staff began painting downstairs in the lobby on Saturday night and the films were just horrendous That's my only complaint other than that. Everything was good stuff was great. Hotel, very convenient rooms are okay.The pool was good"

"Upon check-in, they downgraded my room, but did not tell me! They are allowed to switch room spec under Expedia T&C, but did not make me aware of this until I'd been in 2 very poorly-maintained inadequate rooms. Only then did they confess that they had a room of the spec that I'd booked available. Why didn't they give me that to start with? Why weren't they upfront? Why were the first 2 rooms so shabby?"

"Great amenities and restaurants. Very cool underground bridge to connect the 2 sides of the property. Really cool hot tubs on the rooftop. Great views of the ocean, and close to everything we needed."
