"Great location to Disneyland"

"This is my first time leaving a bad review, but I feel it is necessary. When we checked in, the two male receptionists did not provide good customer service. However, the two ladies working on Saturday were very sweet and friendly. I reserved my rooms three months in advance, but they still placed our two rooms on separate floors. Unfortunately, the room I received was extremely dusty. The excuse given was that it might have been caused by the air conditioning, but there is no reason a room should be left that dusty for so long. The hand towels were old and dirty, and I took pictures showing how dusty the room was. There was dust on the lamps, on top of the coffee maker, on the drawer handles, and even in the restroom fan. It was horrible. I have severe allergies and asthma, so the room should have been properly cleaned before our arrival. The hotel is also far from the University of San Diego, and there were many homeless people around the area. Unfortunately, I will not stay here again."

"This was the worse hotel experience we have ever had. I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and it has really changed. The room we were given was filthy, the walls were broken (yes broken parts on the walls) the bathroom looked like it hadn’t ever been cleaned, and it over all had a war torn building over all feel. We travelled with a friend and their door had been kicked in while we were at the parks and the response from the management was “we don’t have cameras” and they told us to just call the police. This place is run down and those photos you see of the rooms were taken at least 10 years ago. Inside the suites it might look ok but the suite was the door that was kicked in and management just shrugged it off. I’m never staying here and I recommend you don’t either unless you want potential "

"The roll-a-way bed was very hard and they do not offer mattress toppers. When the kind front desk clerk offered an extra blanket and comforter, the staff person only brought one blanket then looked at us as if we were off our rockers when we asked about the comforter. He said "OK" and then never came back. Fortunately the very nice desk clerk sent another blanket. Other than that, the room was clean and the front desk staff were super nice and helpful."
