"Great weekend at Horwood House Hotel. Facilities were very good , grounds were beautiful to wander in and staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend. Only downside - we booked a deluxe room but there was only 1 chair to sit in. We requested another one , but did not receive one."

"Great hotel for a base or stop over. Courteous staff, clean rooms and public areas, and good food, all be it a little expensive. Didn’t use the pool area, but it looked very inviting. "

"The staff at check in were extremely helpful and frie dly. The room was clean and very dark, although there was plenty of lighting, it was subdued. It was impractical having to walk all the way round the bed to wash your hands after using the toilet. Having a small sink in with the toilet would have been more convenient and sanitary."
