"The White House end of the hotel is lovely. Sadly we were in a different part where the rooms were tired and ultra basic. Our room stank of vomit, the mattress was very old and uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in the bed. We only had one towel and one toilet roll for two of us sharing a double room. The staff were kind but lacked an understanding of hospitality, in particular they were confused when serving dinner. Two meals came out wrong, then were corrected before being taken away,...

"We had a wonderful stay here, even with the construction the hotel is doing. Our room was comfortable and clean, with welcoming free beverages, snacks, coffee and tea. Beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We were within easy walking distance to the train station, shops, and pubs."

"From the photos of the rooms I had seen, I was prepared for a rather boring, average room, so I was very pleasantly surprised when the room turned out to be very stylish and charming. The fabrics were of lovely and of good quality and there were antiques as well as modern touches. The bathroom was spacious and had really nice granite and large porcelain tile. "There was a pool, sauna and steam room. I went with my 12 year old and there were times kids could use these facilities (and the seating area outside the pool), these were 9-10 and 2 hours (think it was 4-6pm). Under 16s not allowed in the heat rooms. Got towels given to us at the pool to use. Overall a great stay, nice food and kid friendly."

"This McDonald Hotel needs a definite updating. Much of it is outdated and tired looking. The staff and service were excellent and you can’t beat the location. The breakfast buffet was good, but could benefit by rotating items and providing more fresh fruit such as berries. The restaurant is only rated average for dinner with a very traditional and boring menu. The rear exit stair/lift is convenient for getting to Windsor Central train station and it surrounding restaurants and shops, but...
