"Great service, clean room"

"Room service per day is by request no sooner than at 10:00 AM. This was not briefed by desk staff upon check-in. Subsequent inquiry did not reveal management’s rationale, although it is presumed to be due to regional area water conservation pressures. Floors are dirty and not all surfaces that are commonly touched were clean upon check-in."

"Be prepared to pay to park your vehicle and hidden fees. The amount I was assuming I would pay doubled. I wish reservations would offer a better insight into what the actual cost would be. "

"This is an older and more historic hotel. The rooms are small and dated but it definitely gives you a feel for what was rather than what is. It’s definitely not for everyone but for those looking for an older more historic vibe, this is it!"

"Overall it was great, clean bed and room. Nice and simple, loved the room 200 location. The only small complain I have is the bathroom. Small but manageable. I did not like where the toilet paper was."

"We were disappointed in the front desk staff and the valet staff. After our first night (at 9:00 am) we asked for fresh towels (spilled coffee) and another roll of toilet paper (only provided 1 and we were already out). They said it would be brought to us shortly. We left and came back about 2:00 pm. No towels...no toilet paper. Called front desk and they brought it. Later that day we were trying to rest in our room but they started sawing with a very loud saw next door to us. I know sometimes maintenance must be done but I guess it was just poor timing. When we were checking out I requested my car. Even got a message back saying the staff was hurrying to get it. We went outside and sate on the bench and waited. Valet staff never came over to see if we need assistance...they did not say anything to us at all. Finally after 20 minutes my husband walked over and asked about our car...they stated they did not know we needed it even thought we got the automated message that they were already getting it. Mind you it was not busy it was 7:00 am. They brought the car around and we left. We decided then that was our last stay at the Menger."
