"Mahogany Bay was a nice resort. The room was clean, loved the lanai as extra space. Loved the private island. The cabanas were great and the serenity it offers was unmatched. The staff was nice enough. Whenever approached or needed they were cordial. Gilmer the bartender was the absolute best. Always smiling and took care of us when we ordered drinks and food for the pool. We did not have hot water to shower and the cable was out in the property for a few days during our stay. "Check in was a little weird because I booked through Expedia and it’s almost as if the hotel had an option to honor the price I reserved the room for. It was a $200 dollar difference but the booking price was honored. The room was clean all except the fridge that had mold in it. We called to have it replaced and received an immediate response. They weren’t able to remove it but it was cleaned thoroughly. The restaurant was nice and room service was great. Food and drinks were good."
