"Great location by the water in povoacao. Free parking right outside. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach w a free swimming pool/shower access. And 2 min from a grocery store. Pleasantly surprised by the included breakfast- fruits, eggs, bacon, yogurt, a variety of bread, deli meat and cheese."

"5 star... It is not. It's an airport days Inn at best. And I'd take the days inn. Entering the lobby at first you see nice lounge seating, it seems a tad out of date, and that trend continues. We'll fast forward past the unenthusiastic staff at the front desk ( there were exceptions ) when we called to ask where the ice machine was, they showed up with a plastic bag of ice... The young female working was clearly embarrassed for having to work with minimal support, which seems to be the theme...

"Very friendly and helpful staff. The jacuzzi is in a wierd enclosure although it used to be uncovered. Also not very hot. Poolside refreshments ie. Bar/café would do very well poolside rather than next to lobby. Breakfast was pretty good although not all hot items were available right at 7:00 AM when it opened."
