"Elegant hotel."

"Beautiful and romantic with views of Fuji if the weather is right (almost never, such is life). Excellent personal onsen (mini mineral bath), very romantic. Slippers, pyjamas, soaps provided. Even a telescope and star projector! The place is very spacious for a family with two kids. Big kitchen and dining and living room. Big balcony with private foot bath. Big projector screen and you can stream video to it from your phone. Not much dining in the area. In fact, all of Hakone hasn't much dining but here is even less. Big 7-11 nearby and you can get many breakfast items there. The two beds are in the same room so if you are with your children then after they go to sleep you will need to be creative. However, the apartment is big and the opportunities are plenty. No problem."

"The room was spacious (family of 4 with 2 teenagers) and clean. The beds were big but a tiny bit hard. The breakfast buffet was excellent with extensive choices both Japanese and enough western food options for our picky family :). I enjoyed the Onsen a few times and the location was perfect, just a 3 minute walk from Gora Station with direct access to the Hokane-Tozan railway and Cable Car (to ropeway). I would recommend this to all my friends visiting this area in the future. "
