"The hotel owners/hosts, Sharon and John were very welcoming and friendly including Sharon offering to drive me to a local restaurant and later coming back to collect me. The Continental breakfast was generous, varied and more than enough to satisfy and set you up for the day! When I am next in that area, I’ll certainly book to stay at the Ashbank and shall make the recommendation for others to do so too!"

"Lovely hotel with easy parking, great food (try the tart for dessert!), beautiful views in the lounge and restuaraunt, and a delightful pool and spa area. Note that you do need reservations for the outdoor hot tub (we were late arrivals and early departure, and did not check on the process for that). Would happily return and hopefully spend more than one night next time."

"The chef and the floor staff in the hotel restaurant should be complimented on their food, appearance and attention to detail. Just amazing keep up the fabulous work. The bar and lobby entrance sharp and sophisticated , I must say a special mention to the front bar with view over the bay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and decorated. "This was our second stay and it’s a lovely property with wonderful staff that was both friendly and very accommodating…the food in the restaurant and sea deck bar is excellent. Our only complaint was a musty smell in one of the two rooms we rented that was quite overpowering and the lobby fireplace wasn’t working on a cooler day when the patio door was left open. We would definitely stay here again."
