"As a bikepacker, I arrived at the Kilmartin hotel with my bike and bags after a long day riding off-road. The room was excellent. All the facilities I need. The staff was very kind and helpful. The local pub in this beautiful and ancient town was situated in the hotel itself. Perfect for having a well deserved pint! Restaurant was excellent! Same goes for breakfast in the morning."

"Stunning property with high end luxury amenities. Beautiful hotel and excellent food. This should be rated as a five star luxury property. The views were amazing and the restaurant was worth it. There is a whiskey library and pool table room. Minimum two night stay if you can to truly soak it all in and enjoy the surrounding trails."

"I recently spent two weeks at this wonderful property in Oban, Scotland. The hotel and facilities are of a very high standard. The view from our bedroom was absolutely amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel provided complimentary tea, coffee, fresh milk, fresh biscuits, still and sparkling water each day in our room. "The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. "Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different."

"This hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The room was a bit warm with no AC and it was unusual that the lobby area closed at 10:30 pm as it would have been a nice place to sit and have a drink or play cards. Everything else was great!!"

"The George was brilliant. We were travelling to Islay and it was intended as a stop off. We loved it! From the moment of our arrival, welcome from the staff was great, rooms lovely and bar / restaurant excellent. Food was superb. I can only recommend it to anyone travelling in that area."
