"The view from the room/hotel is everything. You can do lots of bird watching right from your balcony and there’s lots of wonderful wildlife around the grounds. The food was excellent breakfast as well as the dinner, really great quality food. Staff were helpful if needed something. It’s a little remote so you have to be willing to arrange shuttles or taxis if you don’t have a car. Also need to be able to walk around the grounds to get to places, but if you struggle or have luggage they arrange...

"Birding is spectacular. The grounds and trails are amazing. So many plants and animals. Beautiful views. Rooms are basic but clean. Food at the restaurant for dinner is average but service was consistently great. Breakfast was better. Overall service was excellent."

"I appreciate the staff holding our reservations as we experienced flight delays due to inclement weather. Security checked us in after hours very quickly and had keys ready to escort us to our rooms. Very clean, really good door seals to keep humidity out and efficient AC. THANK YOU!"

"Great place. Highly recommend one of the cabin on the hill. The view of the volcano is breathtaking and being able to see it from your room’s window is priceless. "The site is spectacular with all the rooms overlooking the volcano and I liked that the hotel is not terribly large. The thermal pools were amazing, with 5 cascading pools, from hot to cooler as they descend. The food was excellent with several options. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing and featured both local and international fare, and so much fruit! The staff were all so helpful and attentive. "
