"Though the balcony provides you with a beautiful view, it is a very excluded property where you must drive uphill towards (especially difficult at night). Convenient as it was right across from mistico hanging bridges, but still a drive away to other attractions in la fortuna. The rooms had quite a bit of insects (mostly lizards and ants), and if you wanted to talk to the reception you had to walk there as there were no phones in the room. You also had to drive to breakfast as it was located at a different hotel. There was no restaurant on site, no gym and no pool. I would recommend staying here if you wanted a beautiful secluded view of the volcano (if you get lucky during rainy season). Other than that, it was a little out of the way and difficult to drive into."

"The resort was top tier. The staff was friendly and always available to help in any way. Breakfast was good every day. The room was beautiful, and very clean. I would recommend this property to anybody wanting to relax and enjoy peace."

"We loved this hotel for its green surroundings. There is a lot of territory with plants and trees, so it feels peaceful and fresh rather than like a typical city stay. What stood out even more was the service. Every request was taken into consideration. The staff is polite, attentive, and ready to help without making you feel like a burden. A special thank you to Daniel at the front desk. He helped us join a tour and went above and beyond by speaking with the tour operator about our pickup. That kind of personal help made the whole trip easier."

"This was such a great place to stay! The views were awesome, it was very quiet and peaceful, and it was very unique to stay in a dome. We saw so many hummingbirds and butterflies. The caretakers were the most helpful, friendly, generous people. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed and they also had a cute friendly dog that greeted us. Just a few minutes away there were a couple restaurants to eat at and it was a 5 minute car ride to Rio Celeste. Highly recommend this place!"
