"This is not America. I’ve been to Egypt many times and have stayed at many different resorts, but charging $14–$20 USD for a beer and nearly $60 USD for a meal is simply unreasonable. Most resorts in Egypt offer a similar experience, so these prices are very difficult to justify. I would highly recommend Rixos reevaluate its food and beverage pricing. There is no reason I should be paying more for a drink or a meal in Egypt than I would for the same items back home in the United States. These...

"Unfortunately, my room was not particularly clean, I had to keep my footwear on in the room, I also had mould around my bath tub! Staff were not very well organised! They wanted to search your bags every time you entered the hotel as food & drinks (including snacks & bottled water were not allowed in). We did not use the Spa facilities! Breakfast was also a massive disappointment. Food was very limited and not replenished, plates & cups were not readily available, coffee machine wasn’t working...

"Everything is immaculate in this place. Their rooms are clean and renovated (they cleaner rooms twice a day plus have a 24/7 house keeping service). Breakfast was amazing with a ton of variety including a lot of fresh fruit which is cut to your liking…but most important are the staff, all addressing you by name everywhere and always saying yes to whatever you ask for anywhere."
