"Very beautiful old them hotel fabulous ocean front if u choose ocean front first night I didn’t realize I had ocean view which was still great just on the side. The birds are such a fun addition and very welcoming comfortable hotel. Would definitely stay here again. The upstairs private area with hot tubs if you are on 4th floor definitely are older and we’re fairly cool for water temps. Again great over all and will be back"

Hotel Bethany Beach

8/10 Good

"Very lovely staff! My fiancé and I enjoyed the free breakfast as well as the cookies & infused water provided in the lobby. Our room was very clean upon arrival—as was the restroom and kitchenette. Included in the stay were vouchers for mini golf and a botanical garden; however, we weren’t able to take advantage due to the weather. We’ll consider staying here again in the future, so hopefully next time! My only complaint was with parking. The front desk indicated that off-season parking (after Sept. 15th, I believe) was $10/day as opposed to $25/day. But my card shows I was charged $80 for our stay from the 22nd to the 24th. If the $10 is outdated, this should be updated to avoid any misunderstandings—though, I think that’s an appropriate price considering parking elsewhere is free during off-season. Or if there were any additional fees, I wasn’t aware of this. We didn’t see the original person who checked us in, so I didn’t feel like bringing this up despite how significant of a difference that was. Overall, pleasant experience barring the weather—which, of course, isn’t the hotel’s fault! End of September is hard to predict, after all!!"

"This hotel was perfect for our quick get away beach trip. The bath tub was stained from old age, and the door was scratched maybe from an animal. However, everything was clean and up dated. The staff were excellent. The young lady checking us in was marvelous. We would stay here again."
