"We love this Hotel! Very clean, steps from the beach, parking garage for your vehicle, a roof top pool, a little gym, love the double doors in the rooms. The rooms have a safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer,microwave and mini frig w/ small freezer. Also love the adjoining room for when my kids and grandkids come with us.There are a few restaurants right across the street like Rusty Rudder, The lighthouse right next to the Rudder and Nalu right beside gold leaf and the other restaurants are only like 2 blocks to walk to! The staff is super friendly!! We have stayed at other Hotels closer to the town restaurants and bars, however nowhere near as nice nor have the friendly staff! We alway go back to The Goldleaf and will continue to only book there!"

"Our room was ideal for anyone staying several days. It had a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator! It had a sleeper sofa. The ocean front view was spectacular. The only drawback to this hotel is that there are 3 levels, and no elevator. Even the first floor is built off the ground level (due to code allowing for water to run its course!). They DO have a dumb waiter to place your bags and send them up to the level you need. This is OK for healthy, young travelers, but not necessarily for older folks, which we are. In spite of this, we are keeping this place in mind for future visits, as it was really nice in every other way, and we are capable of doing 1 flight of stairs, but no more. The staff was exceptional in getting us on the first floor."
