"Een geweldig huisje met de nieuwste apparatuur. Zeer nette douche, met rituals zeep en shampoo ipv de goedkope zeepjes die er liggen. Ruime buitenpatio. Enige was dat, de nummers van de huisjes iets duidelijker mogen worden weergegeven, was best een zoektocht. Maar dat was ook wel weer leuk. Zeer schone appartementen en behulpzaam personeel. "

"A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). "Een dame achter de receptie was buitengewoon onvriendelijk gedurende ons verblijf. Het hotel wordt verbouwd en het restaurant is daarom in de ontbijtzaal. Weinig sfeer daardoor. We wilden roomservice op de 2e dag en dat kon blijkbaar niet. Helaas stond dat nergens en werd dit zeer onvriendelijk via de telefoon medegedeeld. We konden dan wel iets laten bezorgen. Communicatie kon beter. We konden ook in het restaurant bestellen en dat zelf ophalen, maar daar moesten we zelf achter komen. Er werd...

"Très sympatique réception de la part de Frédéric malgré l'heure (très) tardive de mon arrivée. Je regrette qu'il n'y avait pas la télévision (problème de changement de fournisseur d'accès), que cela n'aie pas été mentionné et que cela n'aie pas fait l'objet d'une ristourne. A ce sujet, je trouve le prix surévalué par rapport aux prestations. Merci encore à Fred qui s'est levé de bonne heure afin de me préparer le petit-dej pour que je sois à l'heure à mon rendez-vous."

"Location a significant attraction. Short walk to restaurants and to many of the sites in the city centre, yet not overly busy right around the hotel. Easy to get to if you're driving. Parking about 100 metres away for 15 euros daily."

"Convenient location close to main attractions. Great and very helpful staff. Nice touch to have Irish bar connected to the hotel. Big minus: no kettle in the room. Also, steep stair and broken elevator might create problem for others. "

Only improvements: the pillows were not comfortable at all and one of the beds had some fuzz and what appeared to be hair. The bathrooms were spotless so I chalk it up to a mistake.
