Music blasting in the lobby and because it’s pet friendly there were dogs barking at all hours. Only two towels for a family of four."

"do not park in the street, white plains does not allow overnight parking. the fee is $20 but you would have to move the car by 8am. the $25 parking fee is great because this hotel offers a 12pm checkout time"

"I’ve booked direct before and don’t remember being charged for parking $15 per day which is crazy since there is ample parking surrounded by businesses who would certainly not use the hotel’s parking. It may be because I booked with Expedia which was a huge savings even with paying for parking, my only surprise."

"Considering it’s in a nice area and pricey, the sinks and shower water pressure was terrible. There is none so you can’t wash your hair. The showers had dirt imbedded into the floors, a magic eraser goes a long way. Just wasn’t matching the price of the rooms nor the location being it was close to purchase ny. "Breakfast was good, and the surrounding area was great. There were stains on the couches from unidentified bodily fluids, the tub didn’t work and there was poop on the ground next to the toilet. Unclean and gross, and the air conditioning made a loud knocking noise that woke us up every half hour. Also the ice machine didn’t work on our floor. They gave us some money towards breakfast for the inconvenience but I wouldn’t recommend anyone stays here"

Elevator was too small, and only fit 1 person with their belongings in it at a time. Crumbs on top of the fridge. "Make no mistake, the grounds are beautiful. The original mansion is also beautiful. However, it is very modern and the addition of recent structural additions to accommodate an increasing number of guests does diminish the property from the magic it claims. Imagine an old mansion property where the atmosphere ends at the door to your room because as soon as you enter the room, you’re now staring at a Hilton or Comfort Inn."

"I booked a room with three separate beds for three senior citizen men. The room was not provided, only room available was a King and fold out coach. They did provide a fold out bed. This was unacceptable and we asked for a second room and was told that they were completely sold out. The empty garage and sparse crowd at breakfast the next day makes me question that."
