"This was an interesting place as it was a converted warehouse type building. It was hard to find with Google maps, as it took us to the back of the building, so be sure to turn on Melwood. The room was very large, and the TV was HUGE! Nice bathroom with a toilet seat that was heated and had a built-in bidet - not sure why? Full size refrigerator, but no ice which was a disappointment. Coffee was provided. Bed was comfortable. Overall, a good experience. "

"We had an excellent stay here. I hadn't been to PGH since I was a kid and despite not being familiar, found the neighborhood very walkable for our purposes, plus an easy Uber to nearby neighborhoods. Not only was the nightly on-site happy hour with food a great bonus, the complimentary breakfast had a diverse selection of foods on offer. "We loved our stay at the beautiful Kimpton Monaco. Comfort and quality. The staff provided excellent service despite a full hotel with four wedding parties staying there. Love the art deco theme throughout. Room was large and well appointed, bed super comfortable. Sunday morning breakfast service was terribly slow as was valet car retrieval. Otherwise all good. Would return. "
