"Lovely stay in a very convenient location. I arrived by plane and took a direct train to Gare du Nord, followed by a short 12 minute walk to the hotel. For my return, it was just a 12 minute walk back to Gare du Nord for the Eurostar, which made the whole journey seamless. "The hotel was clean, the room service and staff were exceptional. Check in and check out was smooth and fast and the staff even helped coordinate surprise balloons as this trip was a celebration for my partner, these touches make a real difference. My only wish was that we could use the stairs because we were on floor 5 and each time we waited for the one small lift it was full of many people each time which meant we had to wait for the next round. The location of the hotel was fine in terms of getting around, just a 10 minute walk from the main eurostar station and metros all around. The general area seemed quite poverty stricken and many homeless people nearby at local street feeding shelter across the road from the hotel, people sleeping and living in tents, and lots gathering in large numbers. Some nearby restaurants I could see waiters asking the homeless people to move away and stop bothering customers which I saw lead to one loud argument. The hotel is within its own clean, safe, space and I would stay here again but think this should be known."

"The accomodation was simple, no air conditioning but a fan was provided. The room was clean and comfortable, well insulated from outside noise so we had 3 quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was continental, cereals, fresh bread and croissants, which were very tasty. Close to both the Gare de L'Est and a metro station, Gare du Nord only 15 minutes walk. The owners were very helpful and the lift worked well (6 floors). A well managed hotel."

"It is the absolute best, unless you can afford the Ritz. Excellent location, close to Notre Dame, the Louvre, high end and more affordable budget shopping. Across the street, an excellent boulangerie to grab breakfast, multiple dinning options close by. Water and ice machines in every floor perfect after you have been walking in the sun all day long. Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms."

"We arrived early so the rooms weren’t ready which is fine. I did the pre-check-in, left my luggages and went out. When I came in at night, my room wasn’t processed still, it wasn’t prepared and they couldn’t even find the documents I have signed. Air conditioning wasn’t working well - it was a heatwave and it simply didn’t cool the room down. For a hotel with over 300+ rooms having these slow and crampy elevators was funny. The fact that the bigger elevator was broken on the second day and took another one and a half days to have been fixed was another. The fridge was good enough to keep things cool if they were cool which is hard to come by in a heatwave. Think of it as a cooler bag rather than a fridge. The only chair in the room was broken. Then the fire alarm. Clearly it worked for a full 6-8 minutes. When everyone went down, they turned it off, no explanation has been made. No cops or fire brigades popped up. You know what sucks? Going back to your room after the whole hotel guest were evacuated and the elevators are problematic. It takes forever and it is midnight. As we checked out, they were asking me how they have charged the deposit so they can return it. Wow! Maybe keep a track of it? I am not getting paid to do your job. All in all, this was my third time in here and I am never coming back."
