"What a fantastic little gem of a find. Close the lovely clean sand beaches, nice bars & restaurants. Yet very relaxing & quiet, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our girlie weekend break "
"Was a lovely simple property in the heart of Bournemouth, only a few minutes walk from the town or the beach. Self check in/out was seamless and they offered a decent self-service breakfast. Room was clean with plenty of amenities."
"Wonderful stay. Met with a very kind and informative greeting. Rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. Lovely choice at breakfast, both cooked and continental. Choice of breads for toast!!!!
Hotel is very central to the town centre, beach and Pavillion, perfect situation."
"One of the rooms had the light switch a long way from the door, door shut couldnt find the switch , my mum tripped and fell and hurt herself . Bathroom really dirty , couldnt use the bath at all . Loo roll had been soaked and dried again . Huge room just not clean and poorly laid out . The other room wasnt too bad . Staff were ok, they did stsy up for us to check in late . Car parking terrible "

The Trouville Bournemouth
8/10 Good
"The room was fine. Pity about the floorboards of the room above creaking when anyone walked around. The bed was slightly too saggy, but everything else was fine. Breakfast was filling, but I would have preferred scrambled rather than fried eggs, and a changing menu. The pool/spa was nice but ageing, and it gets used to teach kids swimming at times, so may not be available. Still, it was good for the price and it's in a nice location."
"A wonderful location. Can hear the sea from a Seaview room. Staff are overworked but really helpful and pleasant. A wonderfully grand hotel from the olden days managing the 21st century. "
"We stopped from 7th July to 11th July this year 2025. We had a lovely break in the Durley Dean, its clean and tidy and the staff are first class, very friendly. Ok its dated but its Victorian. The bus stops are 200 yards away from the hotel entrance in the direction of Bournemouth and the buses are frequent to lots of local towns and resorts. We were out every day going to somewhere. Swanage, Poole, Westbourne and Christchurch. We would go again. Thank you Durley Dean"
